Conduit Estate Planners

PENSIONS · INVESTMENTS · RETIREMENT · PROTECTION · MORTGAGES · EQUITY RELEASE

Financial Planning

It usually starts with one question.

Pensions. Investments. Retirement planning.

Old workplace schemes. Savings doing very little. A retirement date getting closer.

That is where many people need the clearest picture.

We will look at the full picture, then show you what could change.

Trusted partners

Three brands. One team.

Estate planning is only part of the picture. Pensions, investments, protection, mortgages and later-life lending are not estate planning — and they are not provided by us. They are provided by two separate, regulated firms that we work with as trusted partners. We introduce our clients to them because leaving those questions unanswered is usually the greater risk. Each firm is responsible for the advice it gives, and each is regulated in its own right.

A joined-up view

Three specialisms, looked after together.

Three firms. Three specialisms.
We work as one.
One question often leads to another.
You are not passed around. You are looked after.

Pensions and investments first

What we can do

Pensions and investments first — where most people need the clearest picture.

Priority service

Pensions & Retirement

Reviewing what you have built up, including old workplace schemes, and turning it into an income that lasts. Working out when to take it, how to take it, and what that means for you.

Priority service

Investments & Savings

Making sure your money is held in the right place, at the right level of risk, for the life you are planning — rather than by default.

Protection

Life cover and related protection, so the people you care about are provided for.

Mortgages

Residential and buy-to-let mortgages, remortgaging, moving home, and lending into later life.

Equity Release

Releasing money from your home through a lifetime mortgage or home reversion plan.

Later Life Lending

Borrowing options designed around retirement income and circumstances.

How our brands work together

Conduit Estate Planners provides will writing, trust and lasting power of attorney services. This work is not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

Financial planning and mortgage advice are regulated activities, and they are carried out by other companies within the brand — not by Conduit Estate Planners. Regulated financial advice is provided by Conduit Financial Planners Ltd. Regulated mortgage, equity release and later-life lending advice is provided by Richer Mortgage and Retirement Ltd, trading as Connect Lifetime Mortgages.

When you speak to one of these companies, you are dealing with that company. Each is responsible for the advice it gives, and each will confirm its own regulatory status and its own terms before you proceed.

All three are separate firms. Conduit Estate Planners is not a regulated provider of financial or mortgage advice. Regulated financial advice is provided by Conduit Financial Planners Ltd, an Appointed Representative of New Leaf Distribution Ltd. Regulated mortgage, equity release and later-life lending advice is provided by Richer Mortgage and Retirement Ltd, trading as Connect Lifetime Mortgages, an Appointed Representative of Connect IFA Ltd. When you deal with one of these firms, you are dealing with that firm alone, and it is responsible for its own advice.

A reason to get in touch

If any of these sound familiar, start here

You do not need a plan already worked out. You just need to recognise one of these.

  • Pensions from old employers you have never looked into.
  • A retirement date that is getting closer and no idea what the income looks like.
  • Savings and investments that have not been reviewed in years.
  • Money that could be working harder, or taxed less, than it is.
  • No clear picture of what your family would receive.
  • A mortgage or a later-life decision you keep putting off.

Any one of these is reason enough for a first conversation. It is free, and it commits you to nothing.

WORTH KNOWING

What happens if...

What happens if your financial plan is left in separate pieces?

Pensions, investments and protection can be looked at in isolation.
Important questions can stay unanswered.
A clear picture can show what needs attention.

What happens if it is joined up?

You can see where you are starting from.
The people you trust have a clearer picture.
The next step is easier to understand.
An older couple sitting together at a kitchen table with their paperwork
A clearer picture. A calmer next step.
A couple sat down to look at the bigger picture.
They left with a clearer view of what to do next.

Important to know

Conduit Estate Planners works alongside our sister brands, Conduit Financial Planners Ltd and Connect Lifetime Mortgages. Conduit Financial Planners Ltd is an Appointed Representative of New Leaf Distribution Ltd, authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Connect Lifetime Mortgages is a trading style of Richer Mortgage and Retirement Ltd, an Appointed Representative of Connect IFA Ltd. Connect IFA Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage. Equity release is a lifetime mortgage or home reversion plan. It is a long-term commitment that will reduce the value of your estate and may affect your entitlement to means-tested benefits. It may be difficult or costly to reverse. To understand the features and risks, ask for a personalised illustration.

There is no obligation to proceed, and any advice is given by the adviser you deal with.

Conduit Estate Planners does not provide regulated financial advice or regulated mortgage advice, and the companies within the brand each act independently and are responsible for their own regulated activity.

Straight answers

Financial planning, in plain English

Where do most people start?

Pensions and investments, almost every time. They are often the biggest part of the picture — and the least reviewed.

I have pensions from old jobs. Does that matter?

Often, yes. Old schemes are easy to lose track of. Bringing them into one clear picture is usually a good first step.

What can you actually do for me?

We review pensions and investments, arrange retirement income and look at protection. We bring in the right firm for mortgage or later-life lending questions.

Will you try to sell me something?

No. We start by understanding your position. Some conversations end with no changes at all.

Will this cost me anything to ask about?

No. The first conversation is free and carries no obligation. If you proceed, costs are explained clearly first.

Are your three brands the same firm?

No. They are three separate firms, each responsible for its own advice.
